No. For canteen services GST is applicable at 5% without GST. GST at 18% with ITC is applicable only in cases where restaurant, eating joints, canteen etc are located inside an hotel, guest house, inn etc with room rent per day of Rs 7500/- or above. Moreover outdoor catering services attract 18% but these are restricted to event based occasional circumstances.
