Hi,
My doubt is whether gst is applicable on service charges collected in restaurants for serving liquor. Because gst is not applicable on liquor, is the service charge portion also exempted??

Sir,
In my humble opinion there is no valuation mechanism given for such supplies under the provisions of the GST Act, hence levy provisions itself fails with respect to such supplies, hence no GST is required to be charged on the said supply.
