07 July 2017 i have small clinic and annual purchase of medicines is about 12 lacs. My query is -
1.Do i need GST No ?
2.what is turnover ? explain it - total receipts or purchase

07 July 2017 Medical services are exempt from gst therefore registration is not required. Turnover means gross total receipts. Therefore if you sell medicines along with services and your receipts exceeds twenty lakhs then you have to get registered.
