Gratuity query

20 May 2015 I have one query regarding gratuity actual our question is that our company has not deducted DA only deducted of Basic, HRA, Education, Conveyance, PF, & PT So our one employee left the company and he wants gratuity his working here 12 years 3 months so now in my knowledge gratuity formula is (Basic + Da) x 15/26* no of years working.
But Our question is if Our company Not Deducted DA what is to be calculate Gratuity in this person.

20 May 2015 if no DA take it as 0.. no issues .. it wil b directly on basic amount

20 May 2015 Thank you sir it means doesn't matter to if DA Not deducted in pay slip so the Gratuity calculate on Only Basic.
