hello ..can any one plz tell me if any article had registered for articleship before 1 may 2012 .say date o articleship is march 2012.. he is the student of ca final then whether he is eligible for gmcs programme as per new prescribed rule ?

No, Those students who are registered for their articleship on or after 1st May 2012 only liable for new scheme of GMCS. Prior to that date registered students New scheme of GMCS not applicable.

You can appear for GMCS at any time after completion of PCC/IPCC and in the last year of articleship but before to apply for Membership of ICAI.
