can service tax for several months be paid in one single challan, suppose for 15 months pending service tax payment

yes you can pay in singal challan with interest.but its better to deposit for half yearly sepret challan for reconcile with service tax return.

Using separate challan will be advisable. At least separate challans for each half year(for filing returns).
