hi all,
one of my friends had not claimed HRA in his form 16... which ITR to be used to claim HRA... will ITR 1 is OK.. if yes how can I reflect the same? please guide

Yes ITR1 will be ok. He can claim HRA in return only if HRA was part of his salary and he paid HRA. There is no separate place in ITR1 to show HRA exemption and it should be deducted from salary income shown in ITR1.
