28 April 2012 dear Sir, plz give details about form 12BA.

form 12BA is compulsory for all employees. Is it compulsory for the employer to issue the form 12 BA for the employees. if no Perquisites is provided to employee then also compulsory or not.

28 April 2012 It is compulsory to issue where the Salary of the employee exceeds Rs 150000/- even if no perquisite is provided.

29 April 2012 Yes.Information relating to the nature and value ofperquisites is to be provided by the employer in Form no. 12BAin case of salary above Rs.1,50,000/-. In other cases, theinformation would have to be provided by the employer in Form16 itself. In either case, Form 16 with Form 12BA or Form 16 byitself will have to be furnished within a period of one monthfrom the end of relevant financial year
