I have joined a MBA course in August 2013 but have not submitted the form with the ICAI yet. It is a regular course but it does not required attendance and my principal knows about it. Is it compulsory for me to file the form with the institute as my articleship is however going to end in this august. What would be the consequences of late filing of the form or for not filing. Please reply at the earliest. Thankyou

1. you need to submit 112
2. it is for ICAI to decide whether to permit you regular college or not. It is not based on whether you attend classes or not but on whether the college has class timings that clash with articleship hours
3. you need to submit condonation request along with fees.
4. non-filing does result in delay in granting of CA membership.

can you please elaborate what do you mean by condonation request. and what is the prescribed fees for the same?

Eventhough you are not attending to college, ICAI deems you are attending to college and not to articleship

your advice is appreciated Mr. Ganeshbabu but as said earlier i have already started the course almost months back. Please help me as to what is to be done now to avoid any problem in the future.

Discontinue the regular course and start distance mode and then file form 112 only disclosing distance mode of education

cant the regular course be pursued by noting the college timings which do not clash with the articleship timings? Is there any cross verification done by contacting the college for the same?

if u doing additional course have to submit form 112
