Forgot efiling passward/secret ans. and no efiling earlier

18 February 2012 I forgot income tax return e-filing passward and also its secret ans. and i hv not e-filed any return before. i emaild many times to ask@incometaxindia.gov.in, but not received any reply. wht should i do in this matter?

27 February 2012 Dear Expert please first read the question and than reply the answer. don't just put the reply to earn some points.

As he said he don't now answer of secret question and never filed the on line return so don't have the acknowledgement than how can he reset the password?

He can only request Aayakar Sampark Kendra to reset the password by sending PAN Details in email at: ask@incometaxindia.gov.in

29 February 2012 Sir i have already sent many mails to ask@incometaxindia.gvov.in and also called for number of times on given number but i have not get any reply of my mail and everytime on call i have getting the same ans. that my passward will be mailed within 24 to 72 hrs..

01 March 2012 Call them and told them to reset it on phone. they will ask you some questions like address n others and reset it.

01 March 2012 On call they told that they have no authority to reset passward on call. Only income tax authorities can reset it. Now what should i do?

I got the reply from cpc. They send me a new passsward and told that i can use this after 72 hrs.
