10 November 2011 can Indian pro writer invest in abroad company as equity and show in book as investment, assets side. any RBI rules for investment in abroad as equity shareholder. Or can buy property and remit emi directly form India form business

18 November 2011 I have a current account with PMC bank, I want to purchase a apartment in Bangkok ( Thailand) for appx 60000/- USD and would like to send the money in installments such as 10000/- USD each over the next 1 month. The apartment will be in my and my wifes name ( she also has current account with PMC bank). The source of the funds will be 1) withdrawal from my business, 2) withdrawal from my wife's business, 3) Temporary interest free Loans from my relatives 4) or can I show gift received from relatives and that money invest in Bangkok . Can you tell me the rules pertaining to this so i do not violate any FEMA regulation.
