02 May 2016 Dear Sir/ Madam i am nilesh from indore. i forget to file income tax return for ay 2014-15. i that year i hv income from salary on which my owner already deducted tds and gave me form 16. but now i received notice from dept. on the basis of 26as .so what should i do ...what reply should i give to dept. please suggest me. thaank you

03 May 2016 You can submit the Return in Paper Form in response to the notice at your Jurisdiction.

03 May 2016 As i think it is not a notice u/s 142, it is compliance query. you have to just submit the response regarding it. Date for AY 2014-15 has over, Last date was 31st March 2016. this time limit is applicable for paper and e-filing both.
You should take the experts (Tax Consultant) advice for submitting the response.
