For graduate appearing for 1st time in PE II in May08-Urgent

Please tell me whether it is compulsory for graduate enrolling in PE II to appear in May 2008 (which is last attempt for PE II) for both the groups or one group will do.
Also tell me is it compulsory to clear atleast one group.
