03 March 2013 In Primary Health Center (State Govt.)Dr. and A.N.M. give salary (Pay+D.A.+D.F.+T.A.) and Fixed Travelling Allowance Rs. 1500 P.M. for visit to villages. (F.T.A. or P.T.A.) The amount of Rs. 1500/-P.M. exempt from Income Tax or not?
and exempt limit for L.T.C.

03 March 2013 This allowance can be claimed as exempt to the extent of amount spent ; U/s 10(14).
.
L.T.C. -Allowable to the extent of prescribed rules-ticket fare for 2 journeys in the block of 4 years can be claimed as deduction.
