IS IT NECESSARY FOR EVERY PRACTISING PROPRIETARY CA FIRM TO HAVE A REGISTRATION NO.? SECONDLY IF THERE IF NO REGISTRATION NO. OF THE PROPRIETARY FIRM,IS ARTICLESHIP DONE IN SUCH A CA FIRM CONSIDERED VALID??

The member engaging article clerks should hold the valid certificate of practice and should be eligible to trains articled clerk, otherwise he can not engage a articled clerk

Both of the conditions are satisfied....only the member's proprietory firm is not registered and doesnt have a firm no.

COP which is in the individual name is sufficient crieteria in case of Proprietor.
