29 March 2012 An individual is required to revise the return(Which was filed online)for assessment years 2009-10 , 20010-11 and 2011-12.Does he need to download the respected year's excel utility for revision of respected year's return ?
(i.e for revised return of 2009-10 Excel utility of 2009-10 and so on..)

29 March 2012 Yes he will have to download the excel utility for the respective years.

Further, revised return for AY 09-10 CANNOT be filed as the same has become time barred. It could have been filed till 31.03.2011.

Further still revised return for AY 10-11 can be filed till 31.03.2012 only. After that it will also become time barred.
