27 July 2011 Is it advisable to filing of return in case of after net income after alowable deduction is 4 lacs including bank interest less than 10,000/-

27 July 2011 Though it is exempted, in my view it is advisable to file the return and maintain proper records as filing of return has been made very easy with introduction of e-filing.

27 July 2011 Instructions have been given to income tax offices to accept return of income in exempted cases also if the assessee's wants to file the return of income.. Pl see order no. 142 dated 25/7/2011. In view of that, as Gupta Ji rightly said, u may file if u so wish.
