11 September 2012 Can I file today income tax return of Nil income of an Individual for the AY 2011-12.whether penalty of 5000 levy or not.

Can I file return of 2011-12 after filing return of 2012-13.

11 September 2012 1. You can file the return for AY 2011-12. Since it is a nil return, penalty will not be levied.

2. You can file the return even after filing the return for AY 12-13.
