If we file is there any chance of penalty mentioned u/s 271(f)?

07 July 2011 Belated returns can be filed until the end of one year from the end of the Assessmnt yr.
Penalty is not mandatory, but voluntary on the part of the IT officer,
Probability of Penalty is very less if it is filed within above timelimit
