Hi Friends,
One of my client's company got incorporated on 30-03-2012 i.e last day of financial year 2011-12.Is filing of annual returns for financial year 2011-12 is mandatory or there is relaxation for this types of cases?

Annual Returns be filed as on 31.3.2012.

Mr. Bajaj, please confirm if I am wrong.
Annual Return is a return required to be filed by company with details form the date of incorporation till the date of AGM. If the first AGM is not hold then no need to file Annual Return (Schedule V) in Form-20B with ROC.
First decide financial year, if financial year is ending 31.03.2012 then call your first AGM then file Annual Return with ROC.
Annual Return will never be filed for 31.03.2012.

You are totally and perfectly right.
Actually the status of AGM should have been mentioned in question itself. It is too important to post a question with complete information.
If 20B is to e-file if AGM is held. Then what about Form of 23AC 23ACA and Form 66 if applicable. Again question is silent about Authorised Capital. The question says 'annual returns'and commonly it is meant Form 20B, Form 23AC 23ACA and 66 if applicable.
