Hi,
I have incurred expense on medical reimbursement of employees. I want to know whether I am liable to pay FBT on Rs. 15000 which is exempt in the hands of employees.

Yes, FBT is applicable u/s 115WB(2)(E).

Liable for FBT :
Expenditure actually incurred by the employee for medical treatment in an unapproved hospital upto Rs.15,000/- during the year.
