extention of ppf account

my daughter is working for mnc in usa under L one visa.her visa expires in july 2017.her ppf account is matured in april 2017.is extention of ppf account is allowed. and if yes then can she deposit amount and claim for tax relief. she files income tax return in usa as well in india too.she claims tax credit.pl guide. thanks in advance.

The PPF account can be continued (after the term of 15 years) either with or without further subscription. Such subscription paid qualifies for 80C.
