IF I FORM A NEW PVT LTD COMPANY, IS IT COMPULSORY THAT AT LEAST 1 DIRECTOR SHOULD BE EXICUTIVE DIRECTOR??

section 252 companies Act 1956 says atleast 2 directors for companies other than Pub.com.
It doesn't day executive or non executive.
These kinda terms like executive, no-executive directors, independent director are used in Corporate Governance.

Executive and Non executive Directors are in case of a limited company. In Pvt. Ltd Companies only director and Managing Director. The Managing Director is the executive director and the other director is the non executive director but without the other director the Managing Director cannot function and hence both are interdependent directors in privater limited companies.
