Exemption for services for transfer of a going concern

This query is : Resolved

25 May 2017 Does item 32 in the list of exemptions, mean that the fees we charge for a merger & acquisition transaction, shall be exempt from taxes ?

The exemptions include the following discription "
32. Services by way of transfer of a going concern, as a whole or an independent part thereof;"

26 May 2017 Transfer of going concern I.e transfer of whole business by the owner is not taxable but u provide services in relation to such transfer which is taxable under Services tax as well as under GST

13 September 2017 That is my understanding, too
