17 May 2014 Sir, I filled both group exam form but i am only prepared for first group of ipcc. In my situation ,it is necessary to give both group exams for getting exemption in any subject of first group ? If i m not giving second group exam so i m not getting any exemption in first group ??

17 May 2014 No Kanika U can appear for 1 group also and can earn exemption of secures 60or+ in any subjects among the 4.

17 May 2014 U r not bound to appear in both group as was in CPT.

17 May 2014 Even if u appear in a single paper on any group then also u r eligible for exemption by securing 60or+ marks in that subject.

17 May 2014 For getting Exemption i think it is necessary to appear in all exams of that particular group .

17 May 2014 No it is not necessary, I m saying from personal experience. We a group of friends were appearing for IPC. And one of my friend was caught by swine flue and he was unable to attend all other papers except accounts(gr1). He scored 73 in that and he also claimed it as exemption in the next attempt.
