19 November 2014 If my exempt income in my salary is 18000 . only for this reason should I fill ITR 2 in the place of ITR 1.

19 November 2014 Yes. You need to file ITR2 since exempted income is more than Rs 5000/-.

20 November 2014 Some experts say that income like traveling allowance , Conveyance allowance , HRA r not exempt income .so we need not to file itr 2.

20 November 2014 In schedule EI of ITR 2 there is no column of exempt allowances. Shall it be written in head of 'Other'
