Hi,
We have purchased different material for Fire hyderent System project & availed Cenvat. Now some remaining material like pipe, valve we have to returned back to supplier. So want to know that is there any requirement of excise invoice for such transaction or not? if not on which documents we can returned it.
Please note that the above case is of partially purchase return.

since you are availed & utilzed the cenvat.
therefore you should pass on the cenevat credit on the returned goods value.
by rising the excise invoice.
