Can a excess deposit of tds in month of may can be adjusted against the september?

You can adjust.. but keep in mind that dont break the challan amount in two quarter.
suppose Challan amount is 1000 then dont break in two quarter. Keep it first quarter or second quarter..
If you break in 2 quarter then this will show unmatched challan and unmatched status in deductee's 26AS and form 16A.
