Eway bill and invoice date different

23 January 2021 We have purchased goods of 5 lakhs and the seller issued invoice in our name although goods are not delivered from his godown. We lifted goods from his godown after 20 days by motorised vehicle. Is this according to gst provisions . Please explain?
