09 June 2012 ESI is applicable only if the salary of an employee does not exceed 15000.

Rates are 4.75% for the employer and 1.75% for the employee.

09 June 2012 Dear Parv,
1) Last date for deposit PF challan is 15th of every month but grace period is 5. You can deposit till 20th.
2) Last date for deposit monthly PF return (Form 12-A) is 25th of every month
3) Last date for deposit PF yearly return is 25th April of every year.
4) Last date of deposit ESIC challan is 21st of every month.
5) Last date for deposit ESIC returns is 11th May and 11th November of every year.
