20 May 2011 We are a registered unit under Central Excise & in FY 2010-2011 our Excise Duty payment (CENVAT + PLA) exceeded Rs.1.00Crores for the first time.

Now, we have to file ER-5 by 30Apr2011 & in this respect my queries are -
1. whether the information in this ER-5 relates to previous year (FY 2010-2011) OR relates to current year (FY 2011-12) ? In other words, whether it relates to previous year's performance or current year's estimation ?

Please provide guidence.

20 May 2011 As per the rule of excise ER-5 is required fill only when the duty exceed 1 crore, in which financial year this happened in that financial year ER-5 is required to be filled.
