What will be entry for Advance Payment of Salary? How it will be treated when passing Journal Entry (Salary Payable) in tally
Salary is Rs. 10,000.00
Adavance Paid in Cash Rs. 2,000.00

In this case at the time of making advance payment you can make the entry as
Employee A/c
To Cash/Bank A/c
and at the time salary payable you can pass entry as
Salary a/c
to salary payable a/c
and later
Salary Payable a/c
to employee a/c
Employee A/c
To Cash/Bank A/c
and at the time salary payable you can pass entry as
Salary a/c
to salary payable a/c
and later
Salary Payable a/c
to employee a/c
