Eligibility for appearing in final exam

20 January 2015 Dear Sirs,
My friend is undergoing articleship from 30/09/2012 and he will eligible for May 2015 final exams.

He already passed Group I of IPCC and wait for the result of Group II of IPCC which was written in Nov 2014.

If there is a positive result, can he will eligible to appear for Final Exams in May 2015? Kindly clarify the issue.

20 January 2015 if he has done his articleship and completed atleast 2 years and 6 months then yes eligible for may15 final exam.

21 January 2015 But as per ICAI norms, the difference between the date of application of Final Course registration and Final Exams should be atleast 8 months. Is it true or not???

21 January 2015 no, as my friends have done it in past with similar situation and also cleared in final attempt.
