29 July 2017 Hi I am a maharashtra government servant efilling for the first time.Is it necessary to show the interest amount on saving and fd account in itr1.If yes then how do i get to know the interest amounts to compute?Plz help

29 July 2017 You can add BOTH interest amounts in "Income from Other sources - (PART B GROSS TOTAL INCOME - B3 - Income from Other Sources)
After you ll be deduct The Interest of SAVINGS BANK INTEREST under 80TTA - (PART C - DEDUCTIONS AND TAXABLE TOTAL INCOME - 80TTA)...

Deduct only SB account interest....
Can't deducting FD interest....
