dear sir, my friend is a commission agent. he want to e fill for tds refund, but he has not tds certificate. so, can he use 26AS(tax credit statement) from (incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in)? is the tax credit statement data correct here?

Dear Faruk. The Form 26 is a very significant proof of tax credit. So the assessee may use the same to claim credit. However, it is always beneficial to have Form16A.

Faruk Form16A is the tax certificate you receive from the persons who have deducted taxes from the payments make to you. Therefore, talk to the parties who have deducted taxes from the payments made to you.
