Dear Members,
Please let me know the consequences of not issuing E-Way Bill as it was required to be generated and I did not generate the same but goods has been reached the destination.
further I want to know the penalty provision on not issuing E-way bill.

Penalty is Rs.10000 or tax sought to be evaded which ever is greater

The whole consequence is very difficult to assess as your goods reached the destination then possibility of confiscation is very less but if it caught in between the transit then it will definitely be liable for the confiscation . . . but your case i have already raised with the department and the reply what i have received is really shocking like "Sir, Enjoy karo na" . . .
