26 March 2018 is adhaar mandatory for e-verification of IT return of financial year 2016-17? (if i use the method of otp on registered mobile no and email id)

26 March 2018 Linking of Aadhar is mandatory with ur PAN, and its a common sense that for e-verifying ur IT return using Aadhar OTP, linking of Aadhar is mandatory.

26 March 2018 As per the latest order of supreme Court it is not mandatory to link adhaar with pan, also if I want to e-verify my return using email I'd and mobile number (and not by adhar otp method), is it still mandatory to have adhaar??

26 March 2018 Only for e verification using aadhar OTP method linking of aadhar is mandatory, u may also e verify ur return using alternate methods.

Yup, as per latest order of Supreme Court Linking of aadhar is not mandatory with PAN, but its benefitial to link it.

26 March 2018 Yes... I agreed to Mr Sandeep Dharar., The PAN linking is beneficial to Assessee... The mobile number and Email OTP not available in current situation... The way of OTP is AADHAAR, Net Banking.....other
