E-Filing of ITR 6 company

Dear Team Members,

I have a client Pvt Ltd Company which has not filed the ITR for AY-2008-09 .

Now Can I file it throgh the portal ?
If not what is the remedy.
There is no tax liability.

04 May 2011 Dear Mr.vishnu,

Return can be filed with in a year from the end of the relevant assessment year. hence, return for AY 2008-09 needs to be filed before 31st March 2010.

However, in order to avoid the liability you can file a physical return with the assessing officer. If he refuses to accept it as a return please file it as a "TAPAL". this will reduce the effect of consequences.
