Dear sir,
I sought to register my PAN for e filing but I shocked to see that my PAN is already registered by someone. Therefore I am unable to file my return for AY 2011-12.
Please advise me.

For password reset and link activation, please send login credentials to validate@incometaxindia.gov.in.
Send the following details:

Father's Name
PAN
Date of birth
After the password is reset, change the security question, e-mail and password.
