16 July 2013 i downloaded itr forms from the income tax website. and i fill itr form 1, my system shows 'COMPILE ERROR - MODULE 1'. What kind of error is this. and how can i correct the error. please guide me. if i ignore this e filing can be successful. thanks advance

Download the ITR again and regenerate the xml. Hopefully the problem will be resolved.
