i am not willing to continue CA anymore. what is the procedure to drop ca in 2nd year of articleship?

CHECK LIST FOR FORM NO. 109
Transfer / Termination of Articles
A. Transfer /termination of articles are permitted without any restriction during the first year of articles.
B. During rest of the articles period, kindly visit the website and follow the guidelines for approval of the Institute.
Information under all the columns of form/s have to be furnished and signed by the Articled Assistant and Principal (Page No.1,2 & 5)
In case student signature differs from the Form 103 submitted earlier, employer should attest his old and new signature.
Any corrections (including use of whitener) required to be made, while filling up the form/s have to be countersigned by all concerned.
Kindly mention the number of days of leave taken by the Articled Assistant without fail. In case, the Articled Assistant has not availed any leave, mention in the leave column as 0 (Zero).
Stipend column should be disclosed with either Crossed A/c. Payee Cheque or stipend deposited in the SB A/c. Stipend should not be paid in Cash.
Details of work undertaken and Training Received by the Articled Assistant is mandatory.
The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India”, payable at CHENNAI.

It is the laid down procedure one must comply as your vacancy in your firm would entail your principal to accommodate one more trainee in your place. You need to follow the procedure as prescribed, even if you are not interested.
