23 September 2007 DTAA will not attract all payments. If u go thro' DTAA rule u may easily understand. As for as ur case is concerned TDS u/s 195 will attract.Hire charges will not come under DTAA net.

23 September 2007 Thank u Ravikumar, i hav seen in RSM website that as per DTAA 10% is the TDS rate fo hire charges on plant and equipments, is it correct?
