13 March 2012 Shall we take donations as exempted at the time of TDS on salaries computation or the person who are claiming the exemption has to file the same along with his personal return. please advise.

13 March 2012 While calculating TDS, employer need not consider 80G. However, the employer has to claim it,if eligible, while filing his/ her ITR.

13 March 2012 Thank you for your early Sir, earlier we are considering the donations at the time of TDS caliculations. But 2010-11 F.Y onwards we are not considering. If you have any notification copy please forward the same.
