dividend transfer to Investor Edu. Prot. Fund can be claim

22 February 2008 I had recd. div. warrant in the year of 1994 but but i could not deposited within the time, now as per the provisions of the companies act this amt.had been transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (U/s 205C).
Can I claim it from that fund if yes than please tell me the procedure for the same.

22 February 2008 THERE IS NO WAY TO CLAIM MONEY BACK FROM INV. EDUCATION AND PROTECTION FUND .
EXPLANATION UNDER SUB SECTION 2 OF SEC 205 C OF THE COMPANY'S ACT MAKES ABSOLUTELY CLEAR THAT NO CLAIM SHALL LIE AGAIST THE FUND OR THE COMPANY FOR ANY INDIVIDUAL AMOUNT UNCLAIMED OR UN PAID FOR A PERIOD OF SEVEN YEARS FROM THE DATE THEY FIRST BECAME DUE.
