Distribution of capital gain

If Property is in the name of both husband and wife, then on the sale of such property if any Gain will arise then such gain will be Share by both of them or any one can claim the entire gain?

Gain has to be shared by both.

since property is in the names of Husband and Wife.....capital gain is also distributed among the two
