Different vat numbers for different business

14 February 2012 Please friends can anybody tell me, is VAT number required for diferrent business under one company. for eg: in a hotel industry, under one company they have opened two outlets. So is it necessary to do VAT registration for both the outlets? Both the outlets have same business? Plz reply soon... Thanks in advance..

14 February 2012 The registration no. is granted to a dealer. He can carry out any no. of business and at different location with the same TIN no. There shall be one registered address as MAIN PLACE OF BUSINESS and all other additional locations as BRACNH etc. ADDITIONAL PLACE OF BUSINESS with the same TIN no.
