I had gone through an illustration in ICAI ipcc study material (co. a/c) where he has charged depn. on inventories??
I need to know whether depn can also charged on inventories i,e(Current assets)??

27 January 2015 it must be on losse tools which are capitalised and hence depreciation is charged if they can be used only for specific machinery or asset else its inventories.
