Can any one tel me that which particular method should be used for particular company like Manufacturing company/ Construction company/ Service industry?

16 June 2009 There is no particular method for charging depreciation on fixed assets. If differs from company to company and even in the same industry there are different methods used for charging dep. Also somethimes one company does choose both WDV & SLM for some of its assets and on some assets provisions of AS - 26 on intangible assets apply. So there is no one best solution for your query.
