Is there is any separate block of assets depreciation for the assets being eligible for Technological Upgradation Scheme subsidy ? If so, what is the rate of depreciation for TUF subsidy eligible assets ?

yes. block 9 of the dep. blocks refer to 50% depreciation for machinery and plant used in weaving.,processing, and garment sector of textile industrypurchased under TUFS during APR 1 2001 AND 31 st MARCH 2004 and put to use upto march 31. 2004

Thank you for the clarification. Shall I take that the plant and machinery purchased under TUF scheme after 31.03.2004 are not eligible for the higher rate of depreciation ( 50%)?
