I am a govt. employee. Can i claim deduction u/s 80 dd for the leser treatment for eyes of my daughter from private hospital (CENTRE FOR SIGHT). what is the process for claiming exeption. How much is the exemption amount if my total exp. is Rs.35000.

section 80 DD deals with maintenance including medical treatment of a dependent with disability.
This indicate physical disabbilty i hope.
Since lezar treatment done will not be considered as disability and as such cannot be claimed
